This Song Father Used To Sing (Three Days In May)
«This Song Father Used To Sing» takes place in a small kitchen in Bangkok. Every year, a brother and sister unite there to cook and reminisce about their late father. Their personal stories are closely intertwined with the city’s political history. This cleverly woven drama vividly illustrates the infiltration of politics into daily life in Thailand. Writer and director Wichaya Artamat is definitely one of the most promising contemporary theatre-makers in south-east Asia.
«… another example of brilliant playwriting.»
