Inclusion

The Theatre Festival is committed to the inclusion of people with disabilities and special needs. This applies to our audiences, invited artists and our employees: Yes, we welcome everyone! Unfortunately, we are not yet fully accessible, but we try to make a visit to the festival as pleasant as possible for everyone.

For people with mobility issues
All Theatre Festival venues are wheelchair accessible and have wheelchair access adapted toilets. We are also able to offer wheelchair spaces. Please book a space at least 24 hours before the start of the performance at cadonau@theaterfestival.ch

For people with hearing issues
With a few exceptions, our performances are supertitled in German and/or English.

Relaxed performance
The performances «Chinchilla Arsehole, eyey» by Rimini Protokoll are conceived as relaxed performances. This means it is never completely dark in the auditorium and it is always possible to leave and come back. Speaking quietly, eating and drinking are also allowed – offering a more casual environment than the usual strict rules of theatre.

Personal check-in
If you have difficulty standing for long periods at the entrance or if you need a special seat, take advantage of a personal check-in. Register ahead of time and a member of our team will accompany you to your seat according to your needs. Registration: cadonau@theaterfestival.ch

Personal assistants (carers)
By the way, personal assistants enjoy free admission to all Theatre Festival performances. Please contact us ahead of time to book a seat: cadonau@theaterfestival.ch
