Participating for the first time: Théâtre La Coupole in Saint-Louis, France!
Das Thêatre de la Coupole in Saint-Louis, Frankreich, ist neues Partnertheater des Festivals.
As in previous years, the theatre festival programme will be presented in numerous renowned venues in Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft. In addition to the Kaserne Basel, in 2022 these include the Theater Basel, the junge theatre basel, the Vorstadttheater, the ROXY Birsfelden, the Neues Theater in Dornach.
We are particularly pleased that this year, for the first time in the history of the theatre festival, we have an official venue on French soil with the Thêatre de la Coupole in Saint-Louis. We hope that this first step of cross-border cooperation will stimulate and contribute to an intensive cultural exchange across borders!
