Accessibility

The Theatre Festival is committed to ensuring that visiting us is a good experience for everyone. We are working to make the festival as accessible as possible.

Ticket purchase
Please contact us by e-mail if you are dependent on a specific seat due to mobility restrictions or other visible or non-visible disabilities.

Personal assistants
Personal assistants receive free admission to all performances at the Theatre Festival. Please register with us in good time.

Wheelchair accessibility
All venues are wheelchair-accessible and have wheelchair-accessible toilets. We are happy to provide wheelchair spaces. Please register with us at least 24 hours before the performance.

Surtitles
With a few exceptions, our productions are subtitled in German and/or English.

Audio description
A performance of SCORES THAT SHAPED OUR FRIENDSHIP by Lucy Wilke, Pawel Duduś and Kim_Twiddle will be made accessible to people with visual impairments via audio description. We will know and publish which performance this is shortly.

CulturePlus1
Fancy a visit to the festival? - But not alone? Would you like a companion to support you? We will arrange a cultural companion for you as an assistant for the selected cultural visit in addition to the reserved ticket. We require one week's notice for the arrangement. Reserve your PLUS1 ticket by e-mail.

Personal check-in
If you find it difficult to stand for long periods at the entrance, or if you need a special seat, you can book a personal check-in with us. Please register at least 24 hours before the performance and someone from our team will escort you to your seat according to your needs.

For all questions and concerns regarding accessibility, as well as for reservations and bookings, please contact Annina Birrer at birrer@theaterfestival.ch
