Festival opening

The theatre festival will begin on 24 August at 6 pm with a festive opening in the festival centre on the Kasernenareal. In what we hope will be bright summer weather, the festival will start with a small drink, followed by greetings from the programme board and representatives of the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft.

We then move to the Schauspielhaus at Theater Basel, where the virtuoso work "Los Años" by Argentinean director Mariano Pensotti will be shown at 8.30 pm.
